Over 40 A-Team and Year 1 students recently attended the “Smart Future, Youth Leadership - How Hong Kong Youth Seize Opportunities in the Digital Economy” forum, hosted by the Young Professionals Alliance at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

✨ From emerging trends to evolving talent needs and career prospects, our students connected with policy experts, academics, and industry leaders to explore how Hong Kong’s youth can lead in a tech-driven future.

Our students gained insights into Hong Kong’s strengths in digital transformation and fintech. 💧 連接課堂知識實踐可持續發展！

✨商學院環球商業榮譽工商管理學士四年級學生黎健平（Leo），早前於B 型企業Urban Spring城泉進行實習，並參與了一項推動可持續發展的項目。

實習期間，Leo為都大撰寫了一份免費試用飲用水計劃的建議書，並親自向大學校園設施管理團隊簡介計劃內容，從中獲得了撰寫商業建議書及持份者協調的寶貴經驗。💼

此類體驗式學習機會，有助學生將課堂所學應用於實際環境中，同時為推動綠色未來探索創新解決方案。🌏💡

💧 Bridging classroom learning with sustainable action!

✨ Lai Kin Ping Leo, our Year 4 BBA (Hons) in Global Business student, recently completed his internship at Urban Spring, a certified B Corporation, where he worked on a sustainability-focused project.

During his internship, Leo developed a proposal for a complimentary trial water plan for HKMU. He presented his ideas to the University’s Facilities Management team and gained invaluable experience in developing business proposals and engaging stakeholders. 💼

Experiential learning opportunities like this help students apply their academic knowledge in practical settings while exploring innovative solutions for a more sustainable future. 🌏💡

[Seminar Recap: China Innovation Research with Professor Kevin Zhou]

We were pleased to host Professor Kevin Zhou from HKU Business School for a seminar last week on “China Innovation Research: Challenges and Opportunities”. He unpacked the paradox of China’s innovation drive, highlighted key structural challenges, and pointed to promising directions for future innovation research in the China context.

The seminar was followed by an engaging interactive roundtable, where our academics and research postgraduate students discussed research ideas. Thank you to Professor Zhou and all participants for a stimulating and inspiring session.

【🚀都大商學院學生獲頒QP 和HKICPA獎學金】

🌟恭喜四位主修專業會計的學生和畢業生—— 李欣睿、劉籽余、劉天申和潘嘉寶獲香港會計師公會 (HKICPA)頒發獎學金。

當中兩位2026畢業生劉天申和潘嘉寶獲頒2026 專業資格課程（QP）獎學金，以表揚其優異學術表現，並支援他們考取會計師專業資格。兩位三年級生李欣睿和劉籽余則憑藉卓越的學業成績，獲頒2025-26 香港會計師公會獎學金。👍

得獎者早前已出席獎學金頒獎典禮。商學院期望他們在未來的專業會計生涯中繼續取得成功。💪

🚀Student achievements in HKICPA Qualification Programme

🌟Congratulations to our four Professional Accounting students and Graduates: Candace Li Xinrui, Katniss Liu Ziyu, Timson Lau Tin San, and Hannah Pun Ka Po for receiving the prestigious scholarships from the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA).

The two class of 2026 graduates, Timson and Hannah, were awarded the 2026 Qualification Programme (QP) Scholarships, recognising their academic excellence and supporting their pursuit of the professional accountancy qualification. Meanwhile, the two Year 3 students, Candace and Katniss, received the 2025-26 HKICPA Scholarships in recognition of their outstanding academic performance.👍

Earlier, they attended the scholarship presentation ceremony to receive the awards. The School wishes them continued success in their future accounting careers.💪
