Festalingwi 2026 was another fantastic experience! A big thank you to all the children who joined our workshop and stepped into the role of reading detectives, as well as everyone who stopped by our stand.

It was a pleasure to share this experience with you all! University of Malta

We look forward to working with this year’s Fulbright English Teaching Assistants. Welcome to CALECS and to the University of Malta!

Ambassador Somers Farkas welcomed four Fulbright English Teaching Assistants (ETAs) to Malta; Christian Barkman, Cassidy Boughton, Annika Herlant, and Annabelle Hill. They will assist English language teachers in state secondary schools and the University of Malta, sharing American culture with Maltese students along the way. Heartfelt thanks to our invaluable implementing partners — the Ministry for Education and Sport and the University of Malta — for making this exchange possible.
