May and Mental Health Awareness Month is almost over! The UAB Community Counseling Clinic serves as a clinical training site for graduate students in the Counseling Program who are completing their practicum and internship clinical experiences. Because we are committed to enhancing the accessibility and affordability of counseling services throughout the community, all counseling sessions at the clinic are offered at a lot flat fee of $10 per session for individual, couples, and family sessions.

SEHS had a wonderful end-of-the-2025-2026 year meeting with our SEHS faculty and staff awards and, of course, honoring our incredible Curriculum and Instruction chair and professor, Dr. Kathy Clark, who is retiring after 3 wonderful years here at UAB! We are so thankful to have the wonderful leadership of Dr. Clark for these 3 years! We hope retirement is as wonderful as you! Congratulations to our award winners and to Dr. Clark on retirement.
