This position makes decisions that impact the department's ability to meet fiscal obligations, comply with state, university, and agency policies, and promote viable relationships with outside constituents.

MAE graduate Drew Dove has received the 2025 Ground Testing Best Paper Award from AIAA - The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

Dove was the lead author for a technical paper titled “High-Fidelity Temperature and Heat Flux Evaluation in a Mach 6 Arject Tunnel with Infrared Thermography.” The work details the validation steps for infrared thermography, a technique for measuring temperatures using a specialized camera. Congratulations, Drew!
