傑出訪問學人計劃：董珊教授（2026/10）
饒宗頤國學院自二〇一五年起創設「傑出訪問學人計劃」，延請海內外國學與漢學領域大家蒞院講學，為浸大師生及本地學術社群提供親炙名家、問學交流的機會，使學子得以近距離感受一代學者之學術風範。今期很榮幸邀請到北京大學中國語言文學系董珊教授，親臨敝院，於2026年10月20日至24日來港訪問，並主講兩場公開講座，誠邀您參加！活動詳情如下：

講座一 ：〈哀誦〉新編解故與湘楚祠祀大舜
2025年底發表的安徽大學藏戰國簡〈哀誦〉篇，共有22支竹簡，是一篇楚辭類文獻。報告根據陳琦的編聯意見，重新寫定釋文，試做整體性的討論。〈哀誦〉篇可分為「緣起」、「哀誦」、「尾聲」三大部分，內容是戰國中晚期在湖南地區的楚人祭祀舜帝。該篇主要以音樂和樂器作為貫穿性的主題，作多重隱喻。報告結合歷史傳說與湘楚地方史，討論了祭祀大舜的性質，楚簡〈哀誦〉篇的創作意圖和背景，以及與〈湘君〉、〈湘夫人〉的文體關係，並簡略列舉了秦漢以來祠祀大舜的文獻和考古發現。在古史傳說、歷史事實與歷史文獻、考古發現等多重語境下，才能更好理解戰國楚簡〈哀誦〉篇的意義。

講座二：從新見漢牘再論「風雨詩」
本文討論見於漢代簡牘的兩本「風雨詩」的異同，對此詩的釋字、訓詁、句法和詩義、詩旨都提出了新的看法。文章指出，此詩跟秦漢封禪活動有關，反映了漢代中下層社會對封禪的意見。文中提倡根據句法結構以推求語義的語文學研究方法；並指出不同抄本之間具有傳抄層次，不必刻意趨同或立異。

講者簡介：
董珊教授，吉林大學法學院專科畢業（1990–1992），吉林大學古籍所歷史學碩士（1994–1997，古文字學），北京大學中文系文學博士（1999–2002，古文獻學），北京大學考古文博學院博士後（2002–2004）。現為北京大學中國語言文學系古代漢語教研室教授。曾任北京大學考古文博學院新石器商周考古教研室教師（2004–2022，2016年升教授）、日本東京外國語大學亞非文化研究所任客座教授（2006年9月至2007年6月）。
主要從事漢語古文字學和出土文獻研究，兼及青銅器和先秦兩漢歷史與考古。研究範圍包括商周甲骨文、商周金文、東周秦漢題銘文字、先秦兩漢簡帛文獻以及傳世文獻等。

Distinguished Scholar in Residence: Prof. D**G Shan (2026/10)
The Academy has established the "Distinguished Scholars in Residence" scheme since 2015, inviting internationally renowned scholars in Chinese Studies and Sinology from around the world to reside on our campus. The scheme offers HKBU faculty and students, together with the local academic community, the opportunity to engage with and learn from world-class masters, enabling students to experience scholarly excellence and research insight at first hand. In 2026, JAS has invited Professor D**g Shan from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at Peking University to be the Visiting Fellow from 20 to 24 October. Professor D**g will offer two lectures during his stay. Details are as follows:

Lecture 1: A New Arrangement and Interpretation of Ai Song and the Worship of Emperor Shun in the Xiang-Chu Region
The recently published Warring States bamboo slips of Ai Song (22 slips) housed at Anhui University belong to the genre of Chu Ci (Songs of Chu) literature. This lecture offers a revised transcription and interpretation of the text based on Chen Qi’s reconstruction of the slip sequence and attempts a comprehensive discussion. The Ai Song can be divided into three major parts: the “Prelude,” the “Ai Song,” and the “Epilogue.” Its content centers on the Chu people’s worship of Emperor Shun in the middle to late Warring States period in the Hunan region. Music and musical instruments serve as the unifying themes and function as multiple metaphors throughout the text. Drawing on historical legends and local Xiang-Chu history, the lecture explores the nature of the worship of Emperor Shun, the context and purpose behind the composition of Ai Song in the Chu slips, and its stylistic relationship with Xiang Jun and Xiang Furen. It also briefly reviews textual and archaeological evidence regarding Emperor Shun’s cult from the Qin and Han periods onward. Only by considering these multiple contexts: ancient legends, historical realities, transmitted texts, and archaeological discoveries, can one better understand the significance of the Warring States Chu slip text Ai Song.

Lecture 2: Reexamining the “Feng Yu Poem” Based on Newly Discovered Han Dynasty Wooden Slips
This paper compares two versions of the Feng Yu (“Wind and Rain”) poem preserved on Han dynasty wooden slips, proposing new interpretations of its characters, lexical meanings, syntax, overall meaning, and thematic purport. It argues that the poem is related to the Qin-Han fengshan (imperial sacrifices to Heaven and Earth) rituals and reflects views on fengshan held among the lower and middle strata of Han society. The paper advocates a philological approach that reconstructs meaning based on syntactic structures and emphasizes that variations among different manuscript copies reflect textual transmission layers, thus avoiding forced uniformity or divergence.

Speaker Bio:
Professor D**g Shan, Moster of History from the Institute of Ancient Books, Jilin University (1994–1997, specialising in Paleography); Doctor of Literature from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature, Peking University (1999–2002, specialising in Ancient Chinese Philology); Postdoctoral Researcher at the School of Archaeology and Museology, Peking University (2002–2004).
He is currently the Professor of Department of Chinese Language and Literature, and Director of The Teaching and Research Section of Paleography at Peking University. He formerly served as a faculty member in the Neolithic, Shang, and Zhou Archaeology Teaching and Research Section at the School of Archaeology and Museology, Peking University (2004–2022, promoted to Professor in 2016). He was also a Visiting Professor at the Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia and Africa, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (September 2006–June 2007). His primary research focuses on Chinese paleography and excavated texts, also encompassing bronze artifacts and the history and archaeology of the Pre-Qin, Qin, and Han dynasties. His areas of study include Shang and Zhou oracle bone inscriptions, Shang and Zhou bronze inscriptions, Eastern Zhou, Qin, and Han inscription texts, Pre-Qin and Qin-Han bamboo and silk manuscripts.
