Some practical tips if sitting ACCA exams during the week.
Firstly good luck to everyone, remember you only need 50% to pass…….

Be sure to attempt at least one mock exam if you haven’t already done so. Practice, practice, practice and practice some more always to strict TIME

On the exam day:

1. Make sure you have a good breakfast and pack the pen (to write on the scrap paper), calculator (bring 2), Exam forms, water, ID and good luck charms

2. Double check the location for the exam.

3. Arrive in good time.

4. Ensure your table and chair are comfortable before you start to avoid any distractions.

5. Breath deep and think happy thoughts.

6. Consider your exam technique and make sure that you force yourself to follow your plan. TIMINGS, for each question, are key to passing.

7. Read the requirements of the question

8. Read them again ......…

9. Make sure you answer the requirements

10. There will be parts of each exam paper you cannot answer, don’t let this distract you. Focus on the parts of the paper you are comfortable with, always remember you only need 50%, everything does not need to be correct.

11. Get the bits you know down on paper and get the bits you don’t know wrong quickly. Keep moving and stay confident.

Good luck from everyone at AccountancySchool.com
