The School of Allied Health has been has been busy this fall semester at recruiting events. Last night, Mrs. Jessica Love and Mrs. Megan Wedgeworth attended the Bossier Parish Career and College Fair. Ms. Tamara Roe from Nursing was with them as well.
Today, Dr. Becky Farmer is attending the Elysian Fields High School career and college fair.
It is never to early or late to start thinking about your future.

🌟 Exciting day at NSU N-Side View Day! 💜🤍

Our School of Allied Health was well represented at today's Academic Browse! Faculty members Dr. Becky Farmer and Jessica Ferguson, along with senior radiography student Destiny Phillips, were on hand, sharing information about our Radiologic Sciences program and connecting with prospective students.

To top off a great day, we were graced with a special visit from two wonderful NSU Radiography alumni, Tia and Beau Manasco!

BSRS Radiology Class of 2026, one of our very own doing fantastic things for our profession already!! Congratulations Tinley Steedman!

A clinical rotation sparked Tinley Steedman’s love for mammography. The connections she makes with patients continue to give that work meaning.

We’re proud to introduce Tinley as a GROW! Mammography Fellowship recipient for the October 2026 Cohort!

During her training at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Tinley discovered how much she enjoys breast imaging—from its technical challenges to the conversations that help patients feel at ease. Patients have shared their stories, advice, and life lessons, leaving an impression that lasts well beyond their appointments.

Her “why” is simple: she wants every woman she cares for to feel welcomed, respected, and heard.

Through the fellowship, Tinley will continue building her knowledge and skills in a field she loves.
