🚀 Introducing EntrAbility: Entrepreneurship Without Barriers

Have a business idea? Interested in becoming self-employed? EntrAbility is here to help you take that next step.

FPEI is launching a FREE 12-week online entrepreneurship programme for people with disabilities living in Malta, designed to help participants explore, develop and evaluate their business ideas in a positive and supportive environment.

💡 No business idea yet? No problem! A pre-course Business Idea Generation Workshop will take place on 20 November 2026 to help participants get started.

✨ What to expect:
• Practical entrepreneurship training
• Expert guest speakers
• Individual business mentoring
• Online learning via Zoom
• 5 ECTS credits from the University of Malta upon successful completion

We're delighted to welcome Prof. Leonie Baldacchino as one of our speakers at BUILT TO THRIVE: Mental Resilience, Burnout & Founder Wellbeing, our upcoming Future Founders+ event!

Prof. Baldacchino is Pro-Rector for Internationalisation, Enterprise and Outreach at the University of Malta and an Associate Professor at the Edward de Bono Institute.

She is also a Board Member of FPEI, Programme Chair of EURAM's Entrepreneurship Special Interest Group, and the OECD's Malta expert on inclusive entrepreneurship. She holds a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship from Warwick Business School and an M.A. in Creativity and Innovation.

📊 At Built to Thrive, Prof. Baldacchino will open the session by presenting the latest research findings on founder wellbeing, before joining our panel discussion to explore mental resilience, burnout and the challenges of building a sustainable business.

Another great Entrepreneurship for Creatives 2026 session in the books! ✨

Last Saturday, 17 October, we welcomed Zack Ritchie for Using AI Tools for Creatives - a hands-on, practical session focused on exploring how AI can support the creative process.

It was all about learning by doing, experimenting with tools, testing ideas and seeing first-hand how AI can be used in a creative workflow. The result was a really dynamic atmosphere, with plenty of participation, curiosity and practical learning throughout.

A big thank you to Zack and to everyone who joined us and got involved.

We’re pleased to welcome Prof. Leonie Baldacchino as speaker for From Creative Idea to Viable Business Model, part of Entrepreneurship for Creatives 2026.

Prof. Baldacchino is Pro-Rector for Internationalisation, Enterprise & Outreach at the University of Malta and Associate Professor at The Edward de Bono Institute for Creative Thinking and Innovation. Her work brings together entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation, with a strong focus on helping ideas develop into meaningful and sustainable opportunities.
