We promote a growth mindset and strive in fostering and enhancing the entrepreneurial spirit. At FPEI, we believe that entrepreneurship is the catalyst for innovation, economic growth, and societal development. We strive to create an environment that nurtures and encourages aspiring entrepreneurs, guiding them towards success. Through our workshops, projects, and services, we aim to equip individuals and businesses with the necessary tools, knowledge, and resources to thrive in the dynamic world of entrepreneurship. FPEI offers membership opportunities to companies and organisations that provide services to entrepreneurs. We’re looking for 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 and 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀 who work with 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗮 to take part in a short survey for our upcoming Erasmus+ project, “𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘁.”

The project focuses on strengthening the ability of youth workers to support young people in making safer and more informed decisions around borrowing, credit and financial difficulties.

This questionnaire explores the experience, needs and preferences of youth workers who support young people, particularly in relation to topics such as:

• loans and consumer credit
• “buy now, pay later” services
• misleading credit advertising
• risky or unsafe borrowing
• financial difficulties
• access to information, guidance and support

We would especially like to hear from youth workers, youth leaders, mentors, staff and volunteers of youth organisations, and others whose work involves supporting young people.

From Solo to Supported: Connection Strategies for Founders & Freelancers

Running a business, building a start-up or working independently can sometimes lead to what we call “leadership solitary confinement”, when the pressure of decisions, responsibilities and the day-to-day leaves little room for meaningful connection and outside perspective.

This session will open up a conversation around that risk, and more importantly, how to turn it into an opportunity.

We’ll explore how stronger support networks, valuable peer connections, collaboration and the right conversations can help founders and freelancers feel more supported while creating new opportunities to learn and grow.

🌅 Good vibes, great people and fantastic connections!

Last Thursday, 20 August, our Future Founders+ community came together for Out of Office: FPEI Summer Sundowner, a relaxed evening filled with good food, refreshing drinks, plenty of laughs and, most importantly, meaningful connections.

It was great to see members stepping away from the usual routine to catch up, meet new people and enjoy the lighter side of networking. A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a memorable one! 🙌
