We are delighted to share that three members of our French Department have been awarded the Ordre des Palmes Académiques by the French Embassy. Prof. Dominique Lanni, Dr Marilyn Mallia and Prof. Anne-Marie Bezzina Busuttil received one of France's oldest and most celebrated honours, recognising outstanding contributions to French education and culture.

Join the Applied Research Workshop on Counter-terrorism Justice in West and Central Africa.

Organised within the framework of the IIJ Counter-Terrorism Academic Curriculum (CTAC) programme, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, this workshop will present and discuss the findings of a practitioner-led research initiative focused on current challenges in counter-terrorism justice in West and Central Africa.

The discussions will address:

➡️ The role of judicial authorities in countering terrorism, particularly through rehabilitation and reintegration policies;

➡️ Effective forms of judicial cooperation in tackling transnational security threats in an increasingly complex geopolitical environment.

Seating is limited, and early registration is strongly encouraged.
